Branding for regional youth forum.

About

MOST is a regional youth forum that took place in Tomsk. It was the first event in a series whose main goal was to define the direction of youth policy in the region and to bring youth organizations together.

Tasks

  1. Development of identity (logo, key visuals, branded elements)

  2. Designing print materials (posters, banners, billboards, table tents, etc.)

  3. Making layouts of stage banners

  4. Development of merch

  5. Making posts in social media

  6. Making animations and stories

Identity elements

I used the bridge as a visual metaphor for connection and union. I created about eight logo concepts — here are my favourite variants.

Identity elements

Green was chosen as the primary color because it is the dominant color on the emblem of the Tomsk Oblast. I also created unique graphic elements and a character that appears across the layouts.

Printed materials

For the stage I designed:

3 stage skirt layouts;
3 stage header layouts;
2 side banner layouts.

Another major part of the project was print production: mainly billboard and poster layouts in different formats. Here you can see reward cheques, ID cards for organizers and participants, and a branded hoodie.

Digital materials

I also created social posts and stories for VK social platform

For animations I used Adobe After Effects. The first animation was displayed on digital billboards as an ad, while the second was used as an on-site loop during the event.

Results

In total, I created over 100 social posts and stories, more than 15 banner/print layouts, and 2 animations. Here's some results:

Digital ads reached over 300,000 views;
Over 5,000 people registered for the event;
Approximately 10,000 people attended the event in a single day;
The identity is still in use today, but they made some changes.
